Let us know what you want doing and you could have a team of willing volunteers arriving on your doorstep to make it happen. Complete the form that’s attached and we’ll take it along to the group. It’s up to them what they choose to do, but if you think you can answer ‘yes’ to the following questions then you stand a good chance:

Is it culture?

Remember, for this project that means arts, environment or heritage.

Will it help the group?

Will volunteers be able to learn something new from completing the challenge, or can you offer them placements or new opportunities after the challenge is complete?

Will it help the community?

It could be increasing accessibility, improving public spaces, allowing an event to take place…convince us!

Is it in West Durham?

That’s Weardale, Teesdale or the Wear Valley.
